This service includes:

• Review of one damp, moisture or building-defect report
• Review of one associated contractor’s quotation or proposed scope of work
• Review of up to 20 relevant photographs
• Consideration of whether the diagnosis appears reasonably supported by the evidence provided
• Comments on whether the proposed work appears proportionate and appropriate
• Identification of important questions or further evidence to request
• A written review summarising the principal observations and recommended next steps

Please email the report, quotation and relevant photographs to aksurveying@outlook.com after placing your order. Include the property address and order number in the email subject line.

The £245 price applies to one report, one associated quotation and up to 20 photographs. If the documents are unusually lengthy or complex, or if additional reports, quotations or extensive correspondence require review, any additional fee will be explained and agreed before further work begins.

The review will normally be completed within five working days after all necessary information has been received. If this timescale cannot be met, you will be advised before substantive work begins.

Important: This is an independent desktop review based solely upon the documents and information supplied. It is not a physical inspection or building survey, and no assurance can be given that the supplied information reveals every defect, concealed condition or relevant circumstance.

Where the evidence is insufficient to provide a responsible opinion, a physical inspection, further testing or investigation by another suitably competent specialist may be recommended.
